We investigate a number of key questions in this brand new workshop including what we mean by gaming and social gaming in an ever-changing world. We consider how game play is linked to social media and well-being; we also consider the major safeguarding issues associated with gaming including cyberbullying and its effects. We investigate what happens to young people's time and money and how to recognise signs of addiction and the outcomes of gaming addiction, including mental health issues. Finally we look at some of the more positive aspects of gaming and its educational benefits.
