This one day workshop is aimed at new and middle managers and has a clear focus on both the science and application of leadership and management principles and styles. Participants are able to identify their own strengths and targets as well as develop particular skills, knowledge and competencies which enable them to demonstrate effective leadership.
Job descriptions regularly come with a long list of the tasks we have to achieve but which of these could we or should we delegate and how? Are we ever taught how to delegate and how to delegate successfully? How can we decide if delegation is successful?
The workshop looks at how our leadership style is linked to our delegation style. We look at what we mean by delegation, what we delegate and why we delegate? We consider examples of good delegation and look at the behavioural science involved in the art of good delegation. Other content includes planning and reviewing decisions as well as how we measure success?
